Charlotte's Big Day at Tower Hill Barns

I initially encountered Charlotte at a wedding fair a few years back. While she hadn't set a specific date, we immediately connected, and I believe she was as eager to book me as I was to work with her!
After exchanging a few messages, Charlotte and Sam eventually agreed on a date at the beautiful Tower Hill Barns located just outside Llangollen, North Wales.
All booked in we started planning her trial. Even though there were going to be 5 Bridesmaids, on the Maid of Honour could make it for a trial along with Charlotte.
This isn't the end of the world. While I do prefer to conduct trials for everyone when there’s a large booking (as it ensures the wedding morning goes smoothly), I understand that it’s not always possible. Additionally, this isn't my first rodeo. I am aware of how much time I will need and the factors to consider, such as people wandering off or planners, florists, and photographers wanting to have a "word," etc. So, with my years of experience, it is do-able.
But it was always going to be an early start!
Unfortunately, there are times when venues cannot grant early entry for various reasons. There might be a wedding the previous day, or the bridal party may have chosen not to stay there the night before, among other possibilities.
Charlotte wasn't able to enter the venue until 8am, but I had to begin at 6am. Fortunately, her hairdresser, @erddighair, saved the day since she has a salon located in Wrexham, only 15 minutes away from the venue. We collaborated and organized the morning to ensure we both understood each other's needs and expectations.
I arrived at the salon at 5:45, ready to start the first Bridesmaid at 6am.
It just shows that having an MUA and hairstylist with good time keeping and planning, everything will run smoothly.
At 7:30am we packed up and headed to the venue, which was all ready for us to set up and carry on.
As usual, the Bride goes in the middle of everyone (never at the beginning or end). This gives plenty of time for the makeup to properly settle into the skin before I do any last minute touch ups.
We completed everything with enough time for Charlotte to take photos with her Bride Squad before going down to meet Sam at the altar.
